Wendel is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated professional to join our Engineering Practice Area Project Management team in our Williamsville, NY or Rochester, NY Office, with a focus in solar/renewable energy. This individual will support Wendel Companies Project Management Office purpose and values while providing specific project leadership and task management through self-direction and mastery of skills. These skills include scope management, project financials, managing client expectations, stakeholder communication, project scheduling and analysis, and resources management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project scope, scheduling, and budget to ensure the seamless delivery of renewable energy projects from planning through commissioning.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders while addressing project challenges such as regulatory compliance, site logistics, and grid interconnection.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and practices.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years of related design or construction industry experience, as well as a bachelorโ€™s degree.
  • Proficiency in Excel required, and experience with Scheduling software (MS Project, Smartsheet, Procore) preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Salary Range: $54,000 - $98,000
