RPI Group is searching for an experienced Technical Project Manager to provide project management support for various programs, financial management support for DoD organizations and technical analysis to review projects related to undersea able warfare. This position will be located in Washington, D.C.

Job Description

The Project Manager should be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and/or experience:

  • Technical/programmatic support of ASW design and development efforts
  • Identification of project/technical risks and risk reduction plan development
  • Project/technical presentation development
  • Test support
  • Support Integrated Product Team (IPT) discussions
  • Review test plans for content and security
  • Support adherence to IA requirements during test events
  • Project management
  • Provide project management, coordination, and documentation, as required
  • Provide monthly progress reports and financial overviews
  • Project technical management interface support
  • Advanced skills with the Microsoft Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Word.
  • Knowledge of the Navy procurement and logistics systems

Qualifications

The following items are required for consideration:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical undersea warfare projects.
  • Experience in project management for Navy tasks including:
    • Coordination of personnel resources to fulfill contract requirements
    • Development and delivery of required contract CDRLs
    • Ability to track contract expenditures and forecast funding requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. 6+ years of experience.
  • A Top Secret clearance

Preferred Skills

Direct knowledge of current undersea warfare programs.
