Job Overview
Job Title: Program Manager II
Location: Shaw AFB (Sumter), SC
This position is pending contract award.
Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Program Manager to support, manage, and oversee the AFCENT Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) contract.
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of delivery for products, projects, integrated solutions, and services.
  • Will be responsible for ensuring optimum project schedule, cost, scope, acquisition plan, budget, quality, and that quality solutions are developed and overall customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Will be responsible for contract, project, and task order delivery to include profitability, revenue growth and financial performance.
  • Will direct and manage projects, tasks, personnel, and other resources (both internally and externally) while being the primary liaison among customers, employees, and corporate leadership regarding status, deliverables, performance/quality, and personnel.
  • Is responsible for managing cost, schedule, performance and stakeholder expectations, as well as establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems and obtaining solutions.
  • Will work closely with, and in support of other internal organizations, including engineering, finance, contracts/subcontracts, business development, purchasing, and recruiting.
  • Will assure that all government regulatory guidance and corporate procedures are adhered to across multiple programs and will also work closely with customers and internal corporate resources to ensure the proper execution in all areas of service delivery.
  • Will be the primary interface between Government customers and internal corporate resources on contractual and technical matters, and is responsible for formal and informal briefings and program reviews, as well as the oversight of quality and delivery of data items, technical/scope compliance and overall effectiveness of support.
  • Global travel up to 30%.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in supervising personnel, managing multiple technical programs including budgetary responsibility, planning and estimating work loading requirements, communicating and interfacing with government customers.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
  • Manager must have a minimum of five (5) years of specialized technical experience in the operation, maintenance, engineering, or program management support of Military Communication Systems.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics or related scientific discipline, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems from an accredited university - or a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate plus 6 years of additional general experience.
