JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc., or any other non-IT based project.
  • Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
  • Facilitate the operations of an Agile framework with 3-4 teams while embracing the principles of the framework and the Agile mindset.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
  • Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees’ work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
  • Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  • Support both Waterfall & Agile project management methodology projects.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate Agile events.
  • Foster an environment of self-organization, high visibility, ownership, and continuous improvement with the team.
  • Work with the product owner/service request manager and stakeholders to ensure value is always being generated by the team's work.
  • Remove blockers and impediments to the team’s progress and help the team to capture and aggregate data useful to the team's

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field with 2-4 years’ experience.
  • Scrum Master Certification or PMP certification.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Possess extensive knowledge of project management software (Primavera or MS Project), MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Proficient typing speed.
  • Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills and ability to influence others without having authority.
