Job description

Job Title: Technical Program Manager

Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months


We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead cross-functional programs and drive successful product development initiatives from concept through launch. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), partnering with engineering, product management, UX, research, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality products on time and at scale.

Responsibilities

โ€ข Drive end-to-end program execution across the full Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), from requirements gathering through launch and post-release support.

โ€ข Partner with Product Managers, Engineering, UX, Research, and business stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics.

โ€ข Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and dependency tracking.

โ€ข Lead cross-functional meetings, facilitate decision-making, and ensure alignment across teams.

โ€ข Identify program risks, blockers, and resource constraints, and proactively drive mitigation strategies.

โ€ข Establish and improve program management processes, frameworks, and operational excellence practices.

โ€ข Manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced, agile environments.

โ€ข Track program health, communicate status updates to leadership, and provide clear executive-level reporting.

โ€ข Coordinate product launches and ensure readiness across technical and business teams.

โ€ข Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development workflows and team efficiency.

Required Qualifications

โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

โ€ข 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience supporting software, platform, or technology product development.

โ€ข Strong experience managing programs throughout the full Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).

โ€ข Experience working closely with software engineering, product management, design, and cross-functional stakeholders.

โ€ข Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies and competing priorities.

โ€ข Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid development methodologies.

โ€ข Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

โ€ข Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.

โ€ข Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

โ€ข Experience managing large-scale technology programs in enterprise or consumer product environments.

โ€ข Familiarity with cloud technologies, software development processes, and technical architecture concepts.

โ€ข Experience supporting product launches and go-to-market initiatives.

โ€ข PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, or related certifications.

โ€ข Experience working with globally distributed teams.
