PROGRAM MANAGEMENT INTERN – BUILD YOUR FUTURE IN HEALTHCARE LEADERSHIP

The Program Management Intern role is more than an internship—it’s a launchpad into operational and clinical leadership. This structured, hands-on experience is designed to help you build the skills, confidence, and professional network needed to grow into future leadership roles within healthcare.

Through a combination of real-world experience, mentorship, and targeted development, you’ll gain exposure to multiple facets of healthcare operations while contributing to meaningful work that impacts lives.

WHAT YOU’LL GAIN

  • Executive Mentorship: Learn directly from senior leaders who are invested in your growth and career development
  • Cross-Functional Exposure: Gain insight into clinical, operational, and administrative functions to build a well-rounded skillset
  • Career Pathway Opportunities: High-performing interns may be considered for future roles within Sevita’s leadership pipeline
  • Skill Development: Strengthen your analytical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills in a real-world setting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
  • Regulatory & Operational Foundations: Build a strong understanding of healthcare compliance (HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission) and how it supports high-quality care
  • Operational Analysis: Learn how to evaluate workflows and understand the connection between business decisions and clinical outcomes
  • Leadership Development: Practice communication, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution while supporting team collaboration
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze workforce and operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Capstone Project: Take ownership of a meaningful project, solve a real organizational challenge, and present your recommendations to leadership
  • Risk & Safety Awareness: Develop best practices for maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
  • Professional Growth: Participate in trainings, feedback sessions, and team meetings designed to accelerate your development

WHO YOU ARE
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program that requires an internship or field placement
  • Motivated to grow into a leadership role within healthcare or operations
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Interested in making a meaningful impact while building a strong professional foundation
