Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Counter-UAS Interagency Technical Representative to join our team! In this role you will get to serve as a technical advocatefor U.S. Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interagency Coordination & Planning

  • Serve as a primary technical liaison to the FBI Technical Lead for planning, scheduling, and execution of system characterization, validation events, industry days, and operational deployments.
  • Coordinate with interagency partners to align objectives, timelines, staffing, and technical expectations.
  • Support planning and execution of FBI-led special events and other operational deployments, including extended-hour or time-sensitive activities.
  • Coordinate access, logistics, airspace deconfliction, and spectrum authorization requirements in collaboration with FBI and partner agencies.

Data Collection, Analysis, and Sharing Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, Linux, and Windows command line
  • Experience with statistics and data analysis
  • Database management (MySQL)
  • Web Development (HTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript)
  • UI/UX Design

Hands-On Technical Operations

  • Perform direct setup, configuration, calibration, tuning, operation, troubleshooting, and teardown of C-UAS detection, tracking, identification, and mitigation systems.
  • Integrate mobile, wearable, vehicle-mounted, and semi-fixed systems into validation and operational environments.
  • Resolve RF, networking, software, hardware, and system-integration issues during validation and live operations.

Range Setup & Validation Environment Management

  • Coordinate with FBI technical leadership and range authorities to establish and manage C-UAS validation environments at Redstone Arsenal and surrounding locations.
  • Support development of urban and suburban operationally realistic validation scenarios.
  • Ensure systems are safely and properly employed in accordance with operational and legal requirements.

Standards, Requirements & Evaluation

  • Apply agreed-upon interagency validation frameworks and metrics to characterize system performance.
  • Translate home-agency operational requirements, authorities, and constraints into test objectives and evaluation criteria.
  • Support development of interagency validation standards, methodologies, and reporting formats.

Data Collection, Analysis & Sharing

  • Coordinate synchronized data collection across multiple systems and agencies during validation and operational events.
  • Support secure data handling and sharing consistent with classification, privacy, and operational security requirements.
  • Contribute to post-event technical reporting, findings, and lessons learned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS degree and 5+ years of related professional experience.
  • Strong hands-on technical background in Counter-UAS, electronic warfare, RF systems, sensors, tactical communications, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting operational field deployments, exercises, test events, or special security operations.
  • Experience working within interagency or joint technical teams.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and represent home-agency technical requirements, mission priorities, and constraints.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and technical documentation skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically in support of validation and operational events.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • Minimum of an active SSBI Secret security clearance.
  • Top Secret / SCI preferred.
