Job description

Description:

The Project Manager โ€“ Infrastructure & Software Programs is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cross-functional projects supporting Hyperโ€™s growing portfolio of mission-critical infrastructure solutions. This role works closely with Product Management to drive execution across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, software development, and commercial teams.


This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The Project Manager will manage multiple concurrent initiatives ranging from new product introductions and regulatory compliance efforts to software configurator development and product standardization programs.


Core Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve detailed project plans and execution timelines for active product and infrastructure initiatives
  • Define project scope, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements in collaboration with Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Service, and external partners
  • Identify project risks, blockers, and dependencies while driving mitigation plans and corrective actions
  • Track and report project progress using established KPIs, dashboards, and project management tools
  • Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and drive accountability across teams
  • Manage relationships and deliverables with third-party vendors, manufacturers, and development partners
  • Support continuous improvement of project execution processes, tools, and operational workflows

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from concept through launch
  • Coordinate UL certification and compliance-related project activities and documentation
  • Partner with software development teams on customer-facing configuration and automation tools
  • Support hardware standardization and portfolio consistency initiatives
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and manufacturing partners to support prototype builds, production ramp-up, and material readiness
  • Coordinate launch readiness activities with Marketing, Service, and Operations teams

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing Day-to-Day

  • Managing multiple project timelines and cross-functional deliverables simultaneously
  • Leading project meetings and communicating status updates to stakeholders and leadership
  • Tracking risks, dependencies, and schedule impacts across active initiatives
  • Updating dashboards and project trackers to maintain visibility into execution status
  • Coordinating with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure project readiness
  • Supporting issue resolution and escalation management when project obstacles arise
Requirements:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of project management experience in product development, manufacturing, or technical environments
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with electrical infrastructure products, industrial systems, or data center power distribution equipment
  • Proficiency with project management tools; ClickUp experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

Preferred

  • Experience supporting data center power distribution products such as PDUs, RPPs, switchgear, or busway systems
  • Familiarity with UL certification processes and compliance project workflows
  • Experience coordinating with third-party software or hardware development teams
  • PMP certification or formal project management training
  • Experience supporting NPI stage-gate processes in hardware product environments

Compensation

The anticipated minimum hiring range for this role is $105,000 - $130,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications and location. This hire will be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
