Project Manager

Full time role

Portland Maine (must workonsite)

Project ManagerResponsibilities:

  • ConductPM activities in the Life Science Industry ensuring the project meets thedemands of the client
  • UnderstandLifecycle management for Quality Applications, processes for protocoldevelopment and execution
  • Directthe internal project scope of work, budget, timeline, and change orders
  • Directthe planning and execution of medium to large sized project(s) to deliveron intended outcomes, iteratively planning the execution of any new ideasand requirements approved to maximize ROI
  • Developand maintain a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Directinternal and/or client management activities for assigned projects
  • Identifyand address complex technical issues and resourcing
  • Supportteam members; acting as the liaison to the client for discussing changesin scope of work, timeline, or budget
  • Providefrequent/ clear concise project updates to internal/external customers
  • Directmeetings to problem solve skills to drive solutions to equipment/processissues, including FMEA and root cause analysis methodology
  • Interfacewith vendors, when necessary, to ensure vendors will deliver parts,materials, components and equipment on-time, on-budget and to technicalspecification
  • Collaboratewith Business Partner(s) to define project team(s) and activities
  • Workingwith necessary cross functional resources enterprise wide, coordinate thedeliverance of upstream and downstream dependencies, while proactivelyremoving impediments to drive outcomes.
  • Manageproject deliverables, schedules, governance, vendors providing servicesensuring they meet their execution milestones within cost estimates.
  • Prepareand provide routine readout of project status reports to keep projectsponsors informed of project health (including performance, potentialrisks/impediments to influence appropriate remediation decision).
  • Monitorand control project schedule and financials.
  • Monitorproject expenses and report on cost variances.
  • Maintaindetailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports,and post-implementation reviews.
  • Reporton project progress, KPIs, and outcomes to senior management.
Requirements

  • Bachelor'sdegree in computer science, business, or a related field
  • ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) certification preferred
