Department Summary
The mission of the Ballmer Institute for Children's Behavioral Health at the University of Oregon is to expand equitable access to behavioral health support for children and families by training behavioral health providers, advancing research, and strengthening community capacity. Our vision is to ensure that all children have the support they need to thrive. To achieve this vision, the Ballmer has launched the nation's first undergraduate program in child behavioral health. This program lays the foundation for a credentialed bachelor's-level behavioral health profession grounded in evidence-based practices that will expand access to care and provides a model that can be scaled nationally.
This groundbreaking institute was made possible by an extraordinary gift from Connie and Steve Ballmer, co-founders of Ballmer Group Philanthropy, and is located on the UO Portland campus.
Position Summary
The Ballmer Institute for Children's Behavioral Health is seeking a doctoral-level, Research Associate Implementation Support Specialist to support the development of core implementation resources for the dissemination of the Child Behavioral Health Training Program (CBH-TP) to distinct university contexts. This role will provide implementation facilitation/coaching, technical assistance, and applied implementation research and evaluation support to partner universities launching and sustaining the CBH-TP.
Implementation Support Specialists will facilitate the co-design of tools, products, processes, service models, interventions, implementation strategies and policies related to development and launch of the CBH-TP at multiple universities. These tools and processes will guide program development, curriculum design, applied training experiences, supervision models, and program evaluation for the CBH-TP. The ideal candidate will bring advanced training and experience in evidence-based behavioral health practices, implementation science, and applied research translation. This position is critical to ensuring that the CBH-TP resources are grounded in rigorous research and tailored for practical use across diverse educational and clinical settings.
This position requires up to 25% travel to the Institute and other CBH-TP locations.
This Position is remote.
