Job description

Aloha,

We are looking for a receptionist/ reservations agent for our busy studio. Duties would include answering phones, DMs and emails, assisting walk in clients, booking appointments and organizing calendars via our booking software. General cleaning, customer service and clerical work are a daily task.

As our receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. You will welcome guests and answer questions for people who call, email or visit the business. You will help ascertain the best options for booking clients to ensure client and artist happiness and compatibility.

Strong listening, oral and written communication skills are needed in this position. Multi-tasking and stress management skills with a professional demeanor are essential for this position. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Our studio is a fun and friendly environment but we need someone that realizes it is also a job and things need to get done.

This role requires working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Sometimes you will have to come in a little earlier or stay little later to accommodate appt. times set by the artists. We need to fill a position requiring (roughly) 2 pm-10 pm Saturdays and 11am- 6pm Sundays. It's usually fairly quiet during parts of those shifts, so this would be great for a student to also get some work done!
