Job description

Join Our Team as a Tasting Room Manager!

Are you passionate about wine and creating memorable experiences for guests? We’re looking for a dedicated Tasting Room Manager to lead our tasting room operations and help showcase the best of our winery. From grape to bottle, we take pride in producing wine made 100% from Iowa-grown grapes. Our tasting room is not just a place to enjoy wine but also a hub for live music, special events, and unforgettable moments. If you’re ready to combine your love for wine with your leadership skills, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

As the Tasting Room Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while overseeing the day-to-day operations of our tasting room. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing tasting room staff, including scheduling, training, and providing leadership to ensure a welcoming and knowledgeable team.
- Creating an inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy wine tastings, live music, and special events.
- Overseeing inventory management and ensuring the tasting room is well-stocked and organized.
- Collaborating with the team to promote wine sales across wholesale, direct-to-consumer (DTC), and retail channels.
- Coordinating with event planners and staff to ensure seamless execution of events and venue rentals.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of our wines and sharing that knowledge with guests and staff.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate who brings a combination of experience, passion, and leadership to the table. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in a hospitality, retail, or management role (wine industry experience is a plus!).
- Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and guide your team.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and events effectively.
- A passion for wine and the ability to share that enthusiasm with others.

Why Join Us?

While we don’t offer additional benefits, this role provides the opportunity to work in a unique, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a team that celebrates Iowa’s rich agricultural heritage and brings people together through wine, music, and special events.

About Us

As a winery dedicated to producing wine exclusively from Iowa-grown grapes, we’re proud of our deep connection to the land and our community. Our tasting room is more than just a place to enjoy wine—it’s a space where people gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories.

Ready to Apply?

If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and join a team that’s passionate about wine, hospitality, and creating exceptional experiences, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today and let’s raise a glass to your future with us.
