Job description

Weโ€™re looking to hire an experienced interior designer to join The Workroom Interiors team! Our designers manage multiple projects from start to finish under the direction of our co-founder and principal designer Jennifer Tidwell. Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented with strong communication skills. He/she will be proficient in AutoCAD and be up to date with the latest finishes that are trending in the industry.


You will create, manage and implement every step of client projects to ensure that the project runs smoothly - sourcing products and materials, communicating with vendors and contractors, creating mood boards for design presentations, problem solving, and project installations. We have a very fast-paced environment and expect a high level of work from our team. We want someone who enjoys collaborating with other designers on the team and has the ability to lead projects and manage a design assistant and/or junior designer on the team.


Here is what we are looking for:


  • 4-5 years of interior design experience leading projects to the finish line
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Canva and Google Sheets 
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Natural leader with the ability to manage others on the team
  • Tastemaker with the ability to style
  • Confidence and ability to communicate your ideas clearly
  • Strong knowledge of trade resources.
  • Strong communication skills to consult directly with clients and vendors
  • Manage client profiles and product selection in Studio Designer
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • The ability to work as a team
  • Self motivated
  • A great attitude and willingness to take on any kind of project 
  • Commitment- Full-time position - 40 hours a week commitment. Typical hours 9:30-5:30pm.
  • A car, valid driverโ€™s license and cell phone
