Job description

Overview
The Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, shipping, and receiving product in accordance with company standards. This role supports efficient warehouse operations by maintaining accuracy, meeting productivity expectations, and following all established safety procedures. Duties may also include replenishing inventory, transporting product throughout the warehouse, and performing general warehouse tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures
  • Possesses basic understanding of equipment safety and adheres to all safety protocols
  • Completes and documents required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment
  • Loads and unloads freight in an efficient, accurate, and safe manner
  • Moves product to designated storage areas using appropriate material handling equipment; stacks and stores merchandise in assigned locations
  • Picks customers orders, assembling various types of merchandise for shipment.
  • Processes orders including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and completing shipment confirmations
  • Verifies freight accuracy and checks for damage or infestation
  • Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts as needed
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
  • Performs sanitation duties as assigned
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Preferred 6 months of electric pallet jack operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment
  • Must be able to get NFI certified on electric pallet jack
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies
  • $19.00
