Job description

Task Force Talent is seeking a Network Engineer with an active TS/SCI FSP security clearance. Our client for this role is a small company with very unique experience and expertise in cybersecurity and related areas. Candidates should have a background or experience in a technical area, excellent teamwork skills, and be willing to learn. Ideally, candidates also know something about networks, forensics, software engineering, or similar areas. This is uniquely rewarding, high-impact work that cannot be done elsewhere. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage data security strategies.
  • Apply sound engineering practices and technical skills to achieve both short and long-term goals as established by client management. 
  • Perform technical analysis for ops support 
  • Identify opportunities for new technical operations, inform risk management, and best practices for critical ongoing operations.

Target salary range is $150K - $180K, depending on experience level.


All positions are full-time, in-office, usually in a SCIF.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI FSP security clearance. Sorry, we are unable to sponsor or upgrade clearances for this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience with:
  • Network penetration testing, information security, red teaming, incident response, and malware forensics.
  • Supporting computer network exploitation operations through technical or targeting analysis.
  • Researching and synthesizing data from proprietary and open-source intelligence sources to develop actionable cyber operational concepts and detailed proposals, and to support ongoing mission efforts.
  • Operational culture, processes, and mission workflows, particularly in relation to technical and cyber operations.
  • Analyzing network packet captures and net flow data to assess intrusions or identify system vulnerabilities.
  • Computer network architectures and technical collection methodologies, along with familiarity with field operations.
  • Understanding and evaluating complex computer networks, prioritize tasks effectively, analyze and synthesize large datasets, and manage multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Client’s systems and protocols, enabling the creation of both formal and informal communications with internal stakeholders and mission partners.
