This position is responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining top technician talent to support the growing service operations of the organization. This role focuses heavily on diesel technicians, service technicians, field technicians, and skilled trades recruiting while building strong community partnerships and representing the company at workforce development events.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Collaborate closely with Service Managers to identify staffing priorities, lead recruiting efforts for shop and field service technicians including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring manager interviews.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through trade schools, apprenticeship programs, military outreach, job boards, industry networking, and workforce partnerships.
  • Recruitment Marketing: Create engaging job postings, recruiting campaigns, and career growth messaging to attract high-quality technician talent.
  • Candidate Experience: Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records while delivering a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Community Engagement: Represent the organization at career fairs, trade shows, technical colleges, high school career days, and workforce development events.
  • Educational Partnerships: Maintain relationships with technical schools, vocational programs, community colleges, and workforce development organizations to strengthen long-term talent pipelines.
  • Recruitment Events: Organize and coordinate hiring events, open houses, and technician recruitment campaigns at dealership and community locations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR and Training & Development teams on initiatives that support employee engagement, capability development, and overall workforce wellbeing.

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Recruiting Experience: 2+ years of recruiting experience preferred, ideally within skilled trades, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience recruiting technicians, mechanics, or field service professionals strongly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities with diverse candidate populations and business leaders.
  • Organizational Strength: Ability to manage multiple openings, priorities, and recruiting initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and internet-based recruiting tools.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel locally for recruiting events, community outreach, and workforce development activities.
