This position is not your typical recruiting position! The Talent Acquisition Specialist will create and implement a sustainable recruitmentย strategyย to attract and hire talented co-workers across A.Y. McDonald Industries.ย  This position will partner with HR Representatives by providing expertise in identification, sourcing, alignment and retention of top talent to support desired company goals.ย  The Talent Acquisition specialist will lead all recruiting efforts across the companies.ย 

What will you do?

  • Function as anย advisorย andย partnerย to senior leadership, hiring managers, and human resources to align talent acquisition strategies across subsidiaries.
  • Develop creative recruiting methods, stay up-to-date with trends, and managing external recruitment vendor relationships.ย  Will considerย cost-benefit analysisย to evaluate alternate approaches.
  • Establish guidelinesย for outside recruiters.
  • Implement recruitment strategies, with an emphasis on talent pipeline development. Create and build relationships with trade schools, high schools, and colleges to grow the pipeline.
  • Lead projectsย efficiently and partner with our internal marketing department to create recruitment advertising strategies.ย 

What do you need?

  • Experience in leading recruiting efforts and finding qualified candidates to support multiple locations and industries.
  • Experience in building, motivating, and developing effective teams.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiations skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of the advanced manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams -ย Teamwork is a MUST!
