Talent Associate & Recruiter (Talent Acquisition and HR Support) - Hybrid - Lenexa, Kansas (Kansas City)
Are you passionate about creating meaningful employee experiences? At Experitec, a 100% employee-owned company, we believe our people are our greatest asset - and our Talent Management (non-traditional HR) team is the ambassador of that experience. If you are energized by purpose, driven by values, and ready to make a lasting impact across the full employee lifecycle, this position may be a great next step in your career.
Come join our dynamic, high-impact Talent team where you'll play a key role in bringing exceptional talent into an organization built on the talent and commitment of our employee-owners. Our team focuses on real, people-centered talent work. This opportunity will include collaborating with team members on how we attract, assess, and recruit great people, assisting in major initiatives (such as our new Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation) and supporting a variety of team projects. Our endeavors are varied, meaningful, multi-site, and include growth opportunities. You'll have real ownership, visibility across the organization, and the chance to advance HR practices that make a measurable difference in the Experitec employee-owner experience. As Experitec builds on our 100-year history of continuous growth, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping Talent Management HR scales.
Opportunities to make an Impact:
  • Champion the employee experience by supporting every stage of the employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to development and offboarding.
  • Be a strategic partner to hiring managers, helping them attract and onboard top talent across diverse functions.
  • Drive engagement and culture-building initiatives that reflect our values and strengthen our employee-owner community.
  • Ensure compliance and operational excellence through accurate HRIS management, policy enforcement, and process improvement.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, agile, and values-driven TM team that grows with the company and adapts to evolving needs.

What does the Talent Associate & Recruiter do?
Our team exists to cultivate and sustain the best employee experience possible for every Experitec employee-owner - through every stage of their career journey. This position will play a key role in administrative support and coordination of variety of HR activities to enhance the employee experience across every stage of the employee lifecycle. As part of our Talent Management department, you'll enjoy a non-traditional HR approach - focusing on connection, culture, and growth rather than just record keeping and compliance.
This role begins with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition (TA), where you'll help bring in great people and set them up for success. This is an opportunity to be a trusted resource for team members and business partners. This position also supports employee relations, employee development, HR policies, and day-to-day inquiries. The position combines a strong foundation in talent acquisition with broader HR responsibilities, supporting our efforts to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent while ensuring every employee feels valued, supported, and inspired to do their best work.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for a variety of roles, such as engineering positions, inside and outside sales, field technicians, project management, operations, and enabling corporate functions.
  • Schedule interviews, interview debriefs, updates on new and existing open positions, and candidate updates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and craft engaging, accurate job descriptions.
  • Enhance the candidate experience through proactive communication and thoughtful interview coordination.
  • Manage onboarding processes to ensure a seamless, informative and engaging introduction for new hires.
  • Assist with organization and development of our internship programs and represent the company at college and career fairs, building relationships with schools and emerging talent pipelines.
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve hiring strategies and workforce planning.

HR Operations & Administration
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records - including job changes, reporting structures, and department transfers - while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Schedule HR meetings, conduct research, input data, and pull reports.
  • Process termination and offboarding records.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Provide backup support to other team members.

Project & Continuous Improvement Work
  • Participate in supporting projects such as system implementations, process improvements, or culture initiatives.
  • Use data and feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and recommend improvements.

Employee Experience & Engagement
  • Collaborate with team members to support and implement initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and retention.
  • Support employee recognition programs and internal events that celebrate team achievements and milestones.
  • Coordinate schedule, and prepare documents for regular employee check-ins, feedback sessions, and engagement surveys to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees - listening, guiding to resources, and helping to resolve workplace issues with empathy and confidentiality.

Learning, Growth & Culture Development
  • Collaborate to identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
  • Coordinate diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives to assist the organization.
  • Contribute creative ideas for enhancing employee experience at every touchpoint-from hiring to career growth.
