Job description

  • We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner with a headhunter's mindset - proactive, curious, and relentless in finding and engaging the best talent in the market. This is a chance to shape the future of FLSmidth by bringing in the technical experts, leaders, and specialists who will drive innovation and sustainability in mining.

    A Senior Individual Contributor applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and/or technical education as well as work experience. Responsibilities may include managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision, and coaching, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with hiring managers globally to fill positions across North America (U.S. & Canada).

    • Understand workforce needs and design effective sourcing strategies.

    • Use headhunting techniques: direct search & sourcing, market mapping, talent intelligence, and proactive outreach to identify niche and hard-to-find profiles.

    • Build and maintain strong pipelines of leadership, engineering, technical, operations and functional talent relevant to the mining industry.

    • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, provide insights on talent availability, competitor activity, and market trends.

    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake to onboarding, ensuring a professional & optimal candidate experience.

    • Support employer branding initiatives, positioning FLSmidth as an employer of choice for mining professionals on a global scale.

    • Track recruitment metrics and deliver regular reports to stakeholders.

    What You Bring

    • 10+ years of experience in recruitment, ideally including Executive Search, direct search/headhunting.

    • A proven track record of sourcing and engaging talent in technical, engineering, or industrial domains.

    • Excellent communication, networking, and influencing skills.

    • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.

    • Familiarity with ATS systems and digital sourcing tools.

    • A proactive, "hunter" mindset with the ability to spot and attract hidden talent.
