Job description

Who We Are

Headquartered in New York City, Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. is a leading developer, publisher, and marketer of interactive entertainment for consumers around the globe. We develop and publish products principally through Rockstar Games, 2K, and Zynga. Our strategy is to create hit entertainment experiences, delivered on every platform relevant to our audience through a variety of sound business models. Our pillars - creativity, innovation, and efficiency - guide us as we strive to create the highest quality, most captivating experiences for our consumers. The Company's common stock is publicly traded on NASDAQ under the symbol TTWO. For more corporate and product information please visit our website at http://www.take2games.com.

While our offices (physical and virtual) are casual and inviting, we are deeply committed to our core tenets of creativity, innovation and efficiency, and individual and team development opportunities. Our industry and business are continually evolving and fast-paced, providing numerous opportunities to learn and hone your skills. We work hard, but we also like to have fun, and believe that we provide a great place to come to work each day to pursue your passions.

The Challenge

We are looking for a Product Owner who will manage a platform of tools across the company and dive into complex problems and how we solve them with different technologies. We're looking for a problem-solver who gets excited by the ambiguity of product discovery, loves talking directly to internal customers, and enjoys building the path forward rather than following one.

What You'll Take On
  • Own the problem, not just the solution
    • Conduct customer interviews with stakeholder teams to validate problem areas that will require prioritization.
    • Distinguish between "feature requests" (output) and "problems to be solved" (outcome). You will have the authority to say "No" to areas that do not solve a validated problem.
    • Utilize prioritization frameworks (e.g. RICE) to prioritize your backlog, ensuring we are working on the highest value items first.
  • Master the Backlog and Workflow
    • Ruthlessly prioritize the backlog using data to say 'no' to low-value work.
    • Write clear, concise user stories that focus on clear success criteria.
    • Partner with the Tech Leads and tool vendors to push on innovative areas of products that deliver more value to our customers and scale our management of platforms.
  • Bridge the Gap (Stakeholder Management)
    • Act as the primary translator between leadership, our customers, and engineering teams.
    • Communicate progress using a variety of modes, including Demos, Reviews, Presentations, and Writeups.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to continuously deliver value and measure success.
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies as the voice of the customer.

How You Will Work:

  • Outcome over Output
    • You won't be measured by how many PRDs you write, but by metrics like Time-to-Value, Adoption, and Impact to the business.
  • Data over Opinion
    • You will use data to validate hypotheses and ensure alignment even when opinions differ.
  • Discovery over Assumption
    • We don't hand you a roadmap. You build it by talking to your users and defining problems.

About You:

  • You can understand and validate pain-points with customers and get to the root cause of them to understand problems deeply. You are also able to push back gracefully when something is not a priority.
  • You prefer running an experiment to prove a hypothesis with data points rather than writing a 50-page requirements document.
  • You can manage expectations with senior leadership regarding timelines and cost, advocating for a "Roadmap of Problems" rather than a rigid "Gantt Chart of Features".
  • You thrive using tools like Jira, Slack, Confluence, and Miro to create structure and clarity without letting process get in the way of progress.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years as a Product Owner, ideally for enterprise SaaS platforms (Slack, Atlassian, G-Suite, Figma, etc.).
  • Experience with agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Experience applying prioritization frameworks (RICE, WSJF, etc)
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and APIs (SCIM Provisioning, AWS, GCP, Rest, etc.)
  • Ability to write simple scripts and use AI tools to generate working prototypes to accelerate your work

Great to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
  • Familiarity with LLM Infrastructure and APIs (Gemini Enterprise, AWS Bedrock, etc.)
  • Ability to read architecture diagrams and understand the difference between RAG and an AI Agent
  • Experience working with Enterprise SaaS vendors
  • Experience working in the video game industry is a plus

What We Offer You
  • Great Company Culture. Ranked as one of the most creative and innovative places to work, creativity, innovation, efficiency, diversity and philanthropy are among the core tenets of our organization and are integral drivers of our continued success.
  • Growth: As a global entertainment company, we pride ourselves on creating environments where employees are encouraged to be themselves, inquisitive, collaborative and to grow within and around the company.
  • Work Hard, Play Hard. Our employees bond, blow-off steam, and flex some creative muscles - through corporate boot camp classes, company parties, game release events, monthly socials, and team challenges.
  • Benefits. Medical (HSA & FSA), dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan, commuter benefits, in-house wellness program, broad learning & development opportunities, a charitable giving platform with company match and more!
  • Perks. Fitness allowance, employee discount programs, free games & events and stocked pantries.

Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. ("T2") is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, which means we are committed to creating and celebrating diverse thoughts, cultures, and backgrounds throughout our organization.  Employment at T2 is based on substantive ability, objective qualifications, and work ethic - not an individual's race, creed, color, religion, sex or gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin or ancestry, alienage or citizenship status, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, status as a victim of domestic violence or sex offenses, reproductive health decision, or any other characteristics protected by applicable law.
