alts | Alteration Specialists is looking for Tailors
We are looking for a dynamic professional Tailors, distinguished by their charisma, technical prowess, and professional integrity. This role will include, sewing on the machine, and supporting the fitter/tailors and tailor shop manager. This is a full time role in New York City, Brooklyn, Hoboken, NJ and Greenwich,CT with an hourly rate, full benefits, and opportunities for future growth.
Responsibilities
Machine Production and Sewing
  • Demonstrate that you are meeting personal production targets
  • Cultivate proficiency with men's, women's, and bridal alterations as well as alterations of difficult fabrics

Analytics
  • Constantly be evaluating processes that are not efficient and come up with solutions to better optimize our organization
  • Inform front desk of all re-alterations
  • Keep track of and scan your production during the day and communicate with front desk to confirm accuracy

Experience
  • 5+ years of alteration tailoring experience required

Compensation
Range is from $18/hour- $30/hour*
Standard/Basic Tailors are between $18-$22/hour
Intermediate from $23-$26/hour
