Become a Key Player as an Aftermarket Business Development Manager

You will drive aftermarket product line strategies that generate revenue and profitable growth for the organization’s commercial flight control and hydraulic systems portfolios. You will influence cross-functional stakeholders—division leadership, site teams, regional segment teams, and customers—and own revenue forecasts and annual plans. This is an onsite role based in Kalamazoo, MI.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Own aftermarket service center financial goals and coordinate execution with assigned operating divisions and sites
  • Serve as the primary strategic product-line focal point for aftermarket services across products, services, and customers
  • Develop short- and long-term sales forecasts and collaborate with regional and division teams to maximize aftermarket revenues
  • Lead customer-facing negotiations on repairs, spares, logistics, contracts, and pricing; facilitate cross-functional resolution of field performance issues
  • Support proposal and contract development, researching customer requirements and translating them into development opportunities
  • Conduct competitive research and sales performance evaluations to set goals and milestones
  • Develop portfolio optimization analyses to balance products and channels for revenue and earnings
  • Create and guide new retrofit business cases to secure division resourcing and launch new products/services
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Typically 10+ years of progressively responsible experience, including revenue accountability
  • 5+ years of high-level program management experience and established customer contacts
  • Demonstrated ability to develop product/service strategies, prepare forecasts, and build business cases
