Job description

Title: Web & Systems Developer
We are seeking a CLEARED Web & Systems Developer to work on site as part of a team to provide comprehensive design, management and continuous enhancement of the USAFCOEFS internal and external websites, portals, digital assets, and platforms (WPDAP). Delivering optimal functionality, robust security, and a positive user experience, all in alignment with the USAFCOEFS vision and mission objectives. This role will be responsible for performing this effort on site reporting directly to Army customer and local Program Manager.
Job Location: Onsite - Ft. Sill, OK
Responsibilities:
The candidate will design, develop, and support websites, web applications, and web-based services. Responsibilities include site planning, graphical design, content creation, maintenance, and administration. The role involves managing SharePoint pages, workflows, and permissions, developing APIs for social networking services, and performing reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and accessibility standards (Section 508 and EIT). The candidate will analyze emerging technologies for relevance, recommend updates, and implement secure and efficient solutions.
Required Experience
  • Current active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR 5 years of web/systems development experience.
  • Web development: HTML, HTML5, CSS, DHTML, VBScript, JavaScript, XML, JSON, PHP, SQL, MySQL, AJAX, Bootstrap, JQuery, SASS, PySpark, TypeScript.
  • CMS experience: Joomla!, WordPress, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Concrete5.
  • SharePoint administration and content management experience.
  • Software experience with MS 365, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, Xcode, VS Code, PowerQuery.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and bot creation
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) or other industry-standard graphic design tools
  • Strong web development and webmaster skills using HTML, HTML5, DHTML, VBScript, JavaScript, CSS
  • Experience creating blogs, RSS/news feeds, audio/video content, and social media integrations
  • Skilled coding in XML, Java, JSON, PHP, SQL, MySQL, Swift, AJAX, Bootstrap, jQuery, SASS, TypeScript
  • Proficiency with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, PySpark
  • Ability to analyze software and web technologies, recommend upgrades, and implement improvements
  • Familiarity with DoD and U.S. Army web standards and compliance regulations
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
