Basic Function

Responsible for developing coding, installing, and maintaining software systems for the warehouse operation activities.

Primary systems of focus include:

  • Warehouse Management System (JDA / Red Prairie DLX)
  • Zebra mobile computing platforms.
  • Android platform for handheld devices
  • Conveyor / Kiosk systems

Role includes development activities to support existing software as well as develop solutions to adapt to business requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Strong knowledge of warehouse inventory system software. Knowledge of Red Prairie / JDA DLX preferred.
  2. Experience supporting and developing for Zebra android mobile computing devices.
  3. Oracle PL / SQL development experience.
  4. Experience developing with Oracle DB Objects including (Tables, Views, Triggers, Procedures, Functions, Jobs, etc.)
  5. Experience developing integration projects with Oracle EBS a plus.
  6. Knowledge of working in Unix/Solaris server environments.
  7. Experience working with mobile devices, scanning equipment, conveyors, PLCs.
  8. Development projects supporting warehouse operation, reporting, dashboards, and documentation generation.
  9. Development projects using a web-based development platform (Oracle APEX a plus)
