Position overview:
This role involves converting existing PowerBuilder modules to ASP.NET MVC while developing and maintaining complex backend systems in Oracle and .NET.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Systems Developer- Develops and implements applications and programs for the backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations.                                                                       
  • Expert- Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
  • 7+ years in N-Tier .NET web application development
  • 7+ years working with Oracle packages, stored procedures, and triggers
  • 7+ years extracting business logic from Oracle components
  • 5+ years in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • 3+ years with jQuery
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Convert PowerBuilder modules to ASP.NET MVC
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts on design and logic
  • Perform VB.NET coding, unit testing, and bug fixes
  • Develop complex PL/SQL stored procedures and triggers
  • Work under direction of a Technical Lead, Project Manager, and Software Architect
