PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Systems Analyst is responsible for providing support to all our cloud computing needs, including lead, support and monitor infrastructure within public and private cloud environments
As System Analyst, you should have a firm grasp of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS technologies, platforms and applications, and have intimate knowledge of how best to customize these attributes to our business to help us become more secure and efficient.
Work with key stakeholders in solving operation problems through analyzing workflows, gathering requirements, defining alternatives, recommending and implementing solutions.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Installs and maintains cloud-based applications, systems, and associated on-prem infrastructures.
  • Script and automate routine tasks on Azure/AWS components
  • Develop documentation, user manuals, and policy and procedure information for AWS/Azure/on-prem architecture
  • Working in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most efficient cloud-based solutions.
  • Leading cloud and on-prem environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
  • Deploying and debugging cloud and on-prem initiatives as needed in accordance with standard methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as the need arises.
  • Employing outstanding problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and tackle issues
  • Using your extensive knowledge of APIs to craft RESTful services, and integrate them with existing data providers, using JSON or XML as needed.
  • Experience with AIX, RedHat/Unix systems, monitoring tools like spectrum, Nagios is a plus
  • Orchestrating and automating cloud-based platforms throughout the company.
  • Stay ahead of with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company excel.
  • Lead and develop standard methodologies for cloud and systems Infrastructure team.
  • Will participate in 24/7 on-call rotation as part of a team supporting various applications.
  • Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures and develop test cases/scripts for various applications upgrades or implementations.
  • Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols.
  • Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferable. Equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • One (1) to two (2) years' experience in a Cloud Dev Ops, system role or related position.
  • One (1) to three (2) years' experience in developing software using languages such as Python, C++.
  • Azure Certification is a plus.
  • Healthcare IT experience is preferred but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering; Equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered.
  • Experience with cloud-based services, preferably Azure.
  • Knowledge/Experience with VMware host upgrades, virtual machine builds, VCF, VROP, deployment, and migration a plus
  • Knowledge of backups, system manager software distribution, cost optimization and other cloud operational work
  • Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks.
  • Requires attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, and high levels of energy and endurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
  • Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as the need arises
  • Experienced in developing, documenting, and executing test scripts preferred.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of computers, networks, and other information technology tools.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of healthcare personnel including IT management staff, Healthcare system staff, clinicians Healthcare leadership, etc. via written and/or verbal means.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.

Annual Compensation Range $79,497.60 - $127,212.80
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
