PLM Integration Engineer

Do you thrive on driving process improvement within ERP and CAD systems? Do you like to elevate engineering processes and work cross functionally to solve problems? Winnebago Industries has an exciting new opportunity for a PLM Integration Engineer based out of our Middlebury, IN location. This role may be hybrid. This role will own and drive the end-to-end CAD and BOM digital thread across Winnebago business units, ensuring scalable, standardized, and integrated engineering processes. This role enables engineering efficiency, improves time-to-market, and ensures seamless data flow across CAD, PLM, and ERP platforms.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Own the enterprise CAD platform (Onshape) and associated engineering data processes
  • Define and standardize CAD, BOM, and engineering workflows across business units
  • Drive integration strategy between CAD, PLM, middleware, and ERP systems
  • Lead development and governance of APIs enabling digital thread connectivity
  • Ensure data accuracy, structure, and lifecycle management across systems
  • Partner with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to align system capabilities to business needs
  • Lead change management and user adoption initiatives for new tools and processes
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to increase engineering efficiency
  • Establish governance models for process control, versioning, and data ownership
  • Support supplier and partner integration into engineering data workflows
  • Monitor platform performance, usage, and scalability across business units
Technical / Functional Skills:
  • CAD (Onshape) and PLM systems (e.g., Arena)
  • ERP integration and BOM data management
  • API architecture and system integration
  • Digital thread concepts
  • Data governance and lifecycle management
  • Cloud-based engineering platforms
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field (master’s preferred)

  • System integration or enterprise architecture experience preferred
  • Travel to other Winnebago locations may be required
