The Lead Software Engineer, ServiceNow reports directly to the Engineering Manager. As a Lead Software Engineer, ServiceNow, you would be responsible for leading the design, development, and evolution of enterprisegrade ServiceNow solutions with the deep expertise in Now Assist and Agentic AI implementation within the ServiceNow Platform.

This role requires a handson who combines deep platform expertise, AIdriven automation, and integration architecture to deliver scalable, secure, and businessaligned ServiceNow solutions. You will be a key technical authority driving the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions across our enterprise ServiceNow environment.

Responsibilities include working closely with the product management team to ensure we deliver the best user experiences.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

  • Own the endtoend ServiceNow architecture across Now Assist capabilities related to Platform, ITSM and HRSD.
  • Design scalable, upgradesafe solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices and enterprise standards.
  • Lead technical design reviews and architecture governance
  • Integrate ServiceNow with large language models and third-party AI services.
  • Define and govern AI skill configurations, virtual agent flows.
  • Ensure data security, rolebased access, and compliance
  • Monitor AI feature performance, fine tune agentic workflows and drive adoption metrics across business units
  • Architect Agentic AI workflows to enable autonomous or semiautonomous task execution
  • Identify opportunities where AI meaningfully reduces manual effort and improves service outcomes
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Business leaders, product owners & enterprise architect
  • Influence roadmap planning, platform strategy, and prioritization decisions
  • Promotes a supportive and collaborative teamwork environment across diverse groups
  • Evaluates interdependencies; thinks critically / systemically when solving problems

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
