Cyber Security Specialist Mid
AAC Inc is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Cybersecurity Specialist (Mid) to support efforts at the MCCOG. MCCOG is a specialized unit responsible for overseeing and executing defensive cyber operations, network operations, and cybersecurity for Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN). MCCOG provides centralized management and protection of Marine Corps networks, ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of critical information systems and networks. It supports the overall mission readiness of the Marine Corps by defending against cyber threats, ensuring operational security, and supporting the Marines in cyberspace operations worldwide. Security Requirements: SECRET and be clearable to TOP SECRET. The role will be fully onsite in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii Required Skills
ยท Operate all aspects of Information Systems (IS) data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. ยท Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems. ยท Develop and execute Government approved security policies, plans, and procedures; implement data network security measures; operate and monitor network intrusion detection and forensic systems; conduct IS security incident handling; support Continuity of Operations Plan/Disaster Recovery (COOP/DR) plans, and perform certification of IS and networks. ยท Perform other information security duties including operation of Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) and maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Operate Host Based Security System (HBSS), firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), other point of presence security tools, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and related security operations. ยท Perform defensive cyber operation duties including, but not limited to, ensuring workstation and server compliancy with Marine Corps McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS) requirements; identifying cybersecurity incidents using HBSS, Tenable Security Center, RedSeal, McAfee Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM), and other automated tools; operating Imperva Web Application and Database firewalls; performing forensics and remedial action on cybersecurity incidents; and reporting defensive cyber operations statistics. Required Experience
ยท High School Diploma ยท Five Years of related cybersecurity experience ยท Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II ยท Security+ Certification Desired Requirements: ยท Be familiar with the Marine Corps, the MCCOG and their missions. ยท Host Based Security System (HBSS) ยท Tenable Security Center ยท RedSeal ยท McAfee Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM) ยท Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) ยท Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) ยท Be a self-starter, flexible, and be willing to do extra & unique assignments
