Job description

Apogee Global RMS is expanding its cybersecurity and enterprise‑risk practice and seeking a Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead, coordinate, and mature client-facing security programs. This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity operations, risk management, governance, and executive‑level communication — ideal for a structured, strategic, and highly organized practitioner who thrives in fast‑moving advisory environments.

Role Overview:

The Cybersecurity Program Manager will oversee cybersecurity initiatives, coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders, and ensure program alignment with risk, compliance, and business priorities. You will work directly with senior leadership, support enterprise security governance, and help clients strengthen their security posture through disciplined program management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage cybersecurity programs across governance, risk, compliance, and operations
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams, security stakeholders, and external partners
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, and reporting dashboards
  • Support policy development, security controls, and compliance documentation
  • Track progress against security initiatives, SLAs, and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate meetings, status reviews, and executive‑level briefings
  • Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies across cybersecurity workflows
  • Support incident‑response coordination and post‑incident program updates
  • Ensure alignment with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, and enterprise risk standards
  • Contribute to Apogee’s integrated risk practice through structured analysis and clear documentation

Requirements

Qualifications
  • 3–7+ years of experience in cybersecurity program management, GRC, or security operations
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS, SOC2, etc.)
  • Experience managing cross‑functional security initiatives or enterprise programs
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for leadership
  • Strong organizational discipline, documentation skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, fast‑paced environment
  • Familiarity with risk management, compliance, or incident‑response processes
  • PMP, CISSP, CISM, CGRC, or similar certifications are a plus
Ideal Candidate
  • A structured, proactive program manager with strong cybersecurity instincts
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and turning it into clarity and action
  • Skilled at stakeholder management and executive‑level communication
  • Able to balance technical depth with operational discipline
  • Someone who thrives in a practitioner‑led, high‑expectation advisory environment

Benefits

Why Apogee:

Apogee Global RMS is a veteran‑led advisory firm operating at the intersection of cybersecurity, enterprise risk, and talent. You will work directly with senior practitioners, support meaningful client engagements, and grow within a firm that values rigor, clarity, and high‑touch delivery.
