Federal experience is not required. Experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or through Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week, on your resume.
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To be minimally qualified for this position you must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level payband or GS grade in the normal line of progression. Specialized experience would include one year of substantive supervisory or program management experience at the GS-13 or GS-14 level or equivalent level manager or comparable management or leadership experiences outside of Federal service. To be qualifying for this position your experience should be sufficient to demonstrate:

  • Experience planning, coordinating, and executing complex organizational initiatives, special projects, or analytical studies that supported executive priorities and improved program effectiveness across multiple organizational functions.
  • Experience evaluating organizational programs, operational data, workload trends, and performance information to identify risks, recommend process improvements, and support executive decision-making.
  • Experience resolving complex program or operational issues by interpreting policies, regulations, and guidance, developing recommendations, and coordinating implementation across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience developing executive briefings, technical reports, decision papers, correspondence, and other written products used to communicate recommendations, support organizational priorities, and inform executive decisions.
  • Experience representing executive leadership during meetings, conferences, or cross-functional workgroups by presenting organizational positions, facilitating discussions, resolving issues, and coordinating actions among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business units, monitored project milestones, resolved implementation barriers, and ensured timely completion of organizational objectives.
  • Experience analyzing emerging legislation, regulatory changes, industry trends, or organizational priorities to develop recommendations that supported strategic planning, operational improvements, and mission accomplishment.
  • Experience developing recommendations to improve business processes, operational procedures, and organizational workflows by analyzing program performance, evaluating customer or stakeholder feedback, and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency.
