Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a full-time Reimbursement, Revenue Cycle System Analyst, working from our Friendswood, TX, office location (will consider remote), with a start date of July 13th, 2026

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Revenue Cycle System Analyst

In this role, the RCM System Analyst spends each day ensuring the Revenue Cycle and Clearinghouse systems operate reliably and efficiently. Their morning often begins with reviewing system updates, installing and testing RCM changes, and validating that workflows, print schedules, documents, forms, and letters are functioning correctly. Throughout the day, they configure and maintain key system components, including tests, payors, and provider records, while also assisting staff with payor portal registrations and user setup.

They regularly develop dashboards and ad hoc reports to support reimbursement operations, producing weekly productivity summaries and monthโ€‘end AR close reports. When application errors arise-whether related to accounts receivable, 837 claim submissions, or 835 remittance posting-they investigate issues, identify root causes, and apply necessary configuration updates. The analyst also troubleshoots missing or unpriced transactions, ensuring data flows accurately and problems are resolved quickly to keep the revenue cycle running smoothly.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance or Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience in health care revenue cycle operations, with a strong knowledge of insurance billing processes, payer requirements and workflow management.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, optimizing and implementing revenue cycle workflows, including system configuration, maintenance, and ongoing management of RCM/Billing platforms.
  • Proficient in analyzing and translating business requirements into system configurations and workflow schemas to support operational efficiency.
  • Advanced MS Excel experience includes but not limited to complex formulas (e.g. VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), data validation, pivot tables.
