Job description

  • Leading the establishing, control, and maintenance of configurations for a variety or products to support the US Navy including circuit card assemblies, rugged servers, electronics assemblies, cable assemblies, and mechanical assemblies
  • Coordinating with engineers to acquire an understanding of a given configuration item
  • Assigning drawing and document numbers for new configuration items
  • Ensuring all documentation required for a configuration is provided and updated
  • Providing logistics with configuration information for configuration items as requested
  • Storing and retrieving configuration item documents from establish CM databases
  • Reviewing documents and drawings for accuracy and completeness
  • Performing periodic audits of configuration items

  • This job requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline and eight years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
