Job description

Overview

The configuration analyst provides support and analysis to maintain, audit and continually improve configuration management processes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct and prepare configuration management plans and procedures.
  • Performs and maintains configuration management activities for Configuration Items manufactured, procured, repaired, altered or overhauled within the production process.
  • Perform configuration audits, monitor trouble reports and change requests, evaluate and select tools to automate the change control process, and provide status accounting support.
  • Establish, operate, and maintain program documentation support libraries.
  • Assist in the evaluation, definition, standardization, and tracking of data elements.
  • Facilitate working groups of functional experts to establish central repository requirements for data storage, protection, and retrieval.
  • Create and populate data dictionaries.
  • Provide a full range of data mapping, validation, and documentation support.
Qualifications
  • Education: BS or BA - Required.
  • Education: Degree in a Technical Field - Preferred.
  • Experience: 3 Years Experience - Required.
  • Experience: 7 Years Experience - Desired.

Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
