Job description

Windows Systems Administrator

This resource will be installing and patching new Windows systems in a corporate environment. Work with a team of six sys admins to deploy and maintain customer facing systems. Inventory count is 200+ Windows systems with growth expected in 2022 and 2023.

Key skill set:

  • Windows systems administration, including patching, upgrading and deploying production ready systems.
  • Racking, configuring, installing HW/Memory and troubleshooting HW failures.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly meeting and look at open requests to build new Windows servers for Company.
  • Patch any of the existing 300+ systems.
  • Upgrade any EOL Windows systems to latest supported version.

Required Skills: Windows System Administration Server Patching Basic Qualification: Ability to go onsite at some point (local or semi local) - for physical server upgrade. Additional Skills: Ability to go onsite at some point (local or semi local) - for physical server upgrade.
