Location: Minneapolis, MN area (Arden Hills)

Duration: 12 months

Rate: Open

Systems Admin - Informatica

Overview:

Lead and participates in the administration, analysis, design, evaluation, programming, testing and support of complex information systems with a focus on an Enterprise Search System.

Provides technical leadership and solutions for the review and implementation of the Enterprise Search System and connected applications.

Works within various development\test\staging\production environments and interfaces with numerous IT groups and functions to effectively implement and continually develop\enhance the Enterprise Search System

Plans, organizes and controls work efforts, provides input to project standards, provides status of progress, tasks completed and outstanding issues, and produces services\products of the best quality in an efficient manner

Creates appropriate documentation in support of Medtronic requirements for validated systems

Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on projects.


Skills:

Informatica Administrator

Experience with Install, create, configure, upgrade Informatica Power center (9.x) and Power exchange on AIX Unix platform. 

Creation of various Integrations between SAP, SAP BW, HANA, Oracle, SQL server and various RDBMS using PowerCenter. 

Users, roles and folder management - Day to day administration activities like user creation, folder creation, configuring DB connections. Code promotion - Migration of ETL objects from lower environment to production. 

Strong Performance troubleshooting abilities with end users, including connectivity issues due to firewalls, load balancers. 

Monitor performance of Informatica environment. 

Automate different administration tasks via UNIX Shell scripts, command-line utilities. 

Unix shell scripting. 

Experience with DVO and Proactive monitoring tools. 

Provide day-to-day Informatica Infrastructure administration support. 

Ok with non-local but need to be onsite 40 hours a week.
