What You Will Do:
The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Special Processes Operator - Plasma for AWW (Alternate Work Week) shift operations (Friday - Sunday, 6AM to 6:30PM). Training may occur on 1st shift. 1st shift schedule is M-F, 6:30AM to 3PM. Shift earns 8% shift premium after training period. Overtime opportunity may be available after a period of training.

• Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine requirements.
• Prepare parts for plasma coating.
• Set up and operate grit blaster.
• Set up and operate plasma equipment.
• Plasma coat to specifications outlined in work instructions.
• Inspect parts to verify conformance with specifications.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Maintain clean work environment
• Technical aptitude and desire to learn new skills is essential to this role.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Training is provided on-site.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior experience within the aerospace industry.
• Prior experience with specialized coating application.
• CNC equipment operation.

Pratt & Whitney Springdale, AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
