Job description

Meador Manufacturing is a family-owned and operated precision CNC machine shop in Walton Hills, Ohio, specializing in high-quality Swiss CNC and 5-axis machining. We deliver 21st-century production with a true family feel – where innovation, collaboration, and craftsmanship come together to create exceptional components for our customers.
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Swiss Programmer to join our growing team and help drive precision manufacturing excellence using our Citizen A20 Swiss Lathes and related equipment.
What You’ll Do:

  • Program, set up, and optimize CNC Swiss lathes (strong focus on Citizen machines) for complex, high-precision parts.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop efficient G-code programs (CAM software experience a plus).
  • Select tooling, perform machine setups, and make offsets/adjustments for optimal production.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues, run test parts, and ensure tight tolerances and superior quality.
  • Collaborate with machinists, quality control, and engineering teams to continuously improve processes.
  • Maintain documentation including programs, setup sheets, and tool lists.
What You Bring:

  • Proven experience programming and setting up CNC Swiss lathes (Citizen experience highly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of G-code, CNC machining principles, and precision manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
