Job description


Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a CNC Swiss machinist position on the second shift at a manufacturing company in Bethel, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.
The hours are 3:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $20-$30 an hour, based on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Setup, maintenance and operation of Swiss (Citizen) screw machines, and/or secondary machinery
  • Deliver production jobs on time and within budget
  • Monitor in-process dimension standards
  • Review instructions to understand specifications of output
  • Monitor machine while working to make necessary adjustments and identify issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Experience operating CNC Swiss machines
  • Experience setting up CNC Swiss machines for production
  • Possess a good understanding of QA and/or manufacturing processes
  • Experience with measuring instruments and blueprints
  • ISO/AS9100 experience a plus
  • Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including standing for long periods and heavy lifting
  • Able to work overtime when needed
  • Able to pass pre-employment screenings
