What You'll Do
  • Set up and operate Citizen Swiss CNC lathes for production runs
  • Load CNC programs and perform machine setup for new jobs
  • Set tool offsets and make machining adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
  • Read, edit, and troubleshoot G-code and M-code programs
  • Perform tool changes and wear compensation to ensure consistent quality
  • Work with various metals and plastics used in precision manufacturing
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
  • Hold extremely tight tolerances, including ±0.0002"
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
  • Utilize precision measuring equipment including:
    • Micrometers
    • Calipers
    • Optical Comparators
  • Apply SPC methods to monitor process capability and quality
  • Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of CNC Swiss machining experience
  • Experience setting up and operating CNC machines in a production environment
  • Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, and machine setup
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to maintain tight tolerances and produce quality parts
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance on CNC equipment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Citizen Swiss CNC lathes
  • Experience with multi-axis CNC machines
  • Familiarity with live tooling and sub-spindles
  • Ability to read and edit G-code and M-code

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $43.00/hr.
