Job Description

Swiss CNC Set-up Machinist with Programming ability needed on first shift at our New Britain-area aerospace component manufacturing client. Direct-hire position, not a temp, with competitive compensation and benefits

Qualifications

Requires HS diploma or GED, plus minimum 5 years' experience on Fanuc-controlled Swiss CNC (Star or like model) machines, ability to edit programs as needed (Partmaker knowledge a plus), modify tooling and fixturing per job, operate and troubleshoot multiple machines simultaneously, check own work with manual measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Note: Applicants not credibly possessing these qualifications will not be considered eligible.
