Job description

    SALARY RANGE - This position is part of the union, and the wage is established by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Current Rate is $23.50/hour. The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.

    Essential Functions

    • Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life. 
    • Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
    • Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
    • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
    • Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
    • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms.
    • Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed (if applicable).
    • Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
    • Replenish chemical bottles.
    • Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
    • Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
    • Handle items for “Lost and Found” according to the standards.
    • Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
    • Perform other duties as requested by management.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in a resort or a related field preferred.

    Working Conditions and Schedule

    • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
    • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
    • Must be able to stand during entire shift.
    • Required to stand, walk, climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, and bend (fold, organize, scrub, etc.)
    • This role requires operating a golf cart.
