Job description

Summary:
AEW is currently seeking a Producer/Editor to join our Post-Production Team in Nashville. You will be responsible for long-form editing shows, packages, features, on-air promos, and digital content. This Producer/Editor should be comfortable working as part of a team as well as independently with limited oversight. The role combines keen attention to detail, sound judgment, a desire to create compelling content and offer fresh ideas and creative solutions to any problems that arise.
Job Responsibilities
  • Generating creative ideas to help support Dynamite, Collision, Ring of Honor, Road to, Countdown, and social and digital initiatives.
  • Long-form editing on AEW's weekly global broadcast television show(s), features, series, and digital content.
  • Produce and edit feature material for LIVE pay per views and special events.
  • Research and produce background information for relevant feature content to develop a fresh and creative approach to every new project.
  • Re-focus and prioritize work in a live television environment based on show needs under time constraints.
  • Ability to brainstorm, conceptualize, and utilize superior writing skills to present multiple concepts for each assignment.
  • Ownership and overall responsibility from conception to delivery of all assignments.
  • Complete assigned projects on time and within budget.
  • Keep current with All Elite Wrestling's programs, talent, storylines and products.
  • Communicate concepts, and any unforeseen changes, to graphics designers, audio and supervise execution, liaising between post-production and key staff to help maintain an accurate content workflow.
  • Handle multiple projects at one time and meet strict deadlines.
  • Manage and build relationships inside and outside the department.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements
  • Must be local to Nashville, TN or willing to relocate
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience Avid editing, writing and producing at for a broadcast or cable television network or an ad agency
  • Understanding of all phases of pre-production, production and post-production management
  • Demonstrate time management, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, creatively solve problems, and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work in live television environment under short time constraints
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
  • Must possess an expert level of Avid Media Composer and digital workflows, including deliverables
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Avid Nexis Client Manager, File management, and Adobe After Effects

Additional Information:
Salary range: $74,000 - $99,000
