Job Description
What You'll Do as a Resort Experience Supervisor:
As a Resort Experience Supervisor at Westgate Resorts, you will make memorable guest experiences. This role supports and guides team members across the resort, ensuring service standards are met and guests feel supported at every touchpoint. You will demonstrate Westgate's core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members.
  • Coordinate and facilitate resort activities, special events, and themed programs for owners, guests, and team members.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Westgate vendors, contractors, entertainment partners, and resort departments.
  • Assist with event setup, breakdown, decorations, and weekly stocking of event supplies.
  • Manage department operations in the absence of the Director and attend manager meetings/orientation tours as needed.
  • Organize and maintain department files, vendor reports, safety records, and daily/monthly operational reports.
  • Order, inventory, distribute, and maintain logo merchandise, sports equipment, and event supplies.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting records for merchandise, marketing materials, purchases, and vendor payments in accordance with company procedures.
  • Conduct weekly inspections of recreational areas and coordinate repairs, repainting, equipment replacements, and facility upkeep.
  • Monitor and maintain records for the Fitness Center, Game Room, bike logs, and recreational equipment usage.
  • Lead and promote resort service standards, team morale, motivation, and teamwork within the Resort Experience Department.
  • Assist with team member supervision, performance evaluations, disciplinary procedures, and safety training compliance.
  • Exercise authority to cancel activities or events when weather or safety conditions pose a risk to participants.

Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
  • Current Driver's license.
  • First Aid & CPR, preferred.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in hospitality, preferred.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 - 50 pounds.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree GED.
  • Follow instructions without close supervision.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
