Description
The Surveillance Supervisor provides protection, safeguarding and security of Island View Casino & Resort assets, personnel, and customers. In this role you will be responsible for coordination of all shift functions/operations and supervision of agents. Monitors all areas of the property at all times, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity, for proper resolution. Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, and ensures strict adherence throughout the property. Protects casino assets and gaming integrity, thorough monitoring of all activities on property, particularly on the gaming floor. Directs the flow of surveillance reports to the proper individuals within the casino, always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Ability to lead, train and develop surveillance team members and ensures that their tasks are completed in a timely, efficient manner. Maintains world class service levels in the Surveillance Department, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, and disciplining team members, as needed.Reviews all daily activity reports and prepares shift reports for management.
Position Requirements
Two(2) years' experience in casino gaming, security, investigations, closed circuit tv monitoring or any related field required. 1-year of previous supervisory experience preferred.
