DESCRIPTION

As Instruments Sales Representative, you will drive sales growth and build strategic customer relationships in the clinical diagnostics market. This role focuses on selling Next Generation Sequencing instruments and core
consumables to healthcare professionals and clinical research institutions.

What you will do:

  • Ensure sales targets and goals are met (Revenue, units, market share, and Performance goals)
  • Develop and execute sales in the assigned territory
  • Expand sales through existing install base and establish new customers, ensuring alignment with key partners
  • Attend tradeshows, conferences, and seminars
  • Lead sales growth by meeting customers in person to identify their needs. Additionally, for the rental business, manage related distributors
  • Target key customers including Oncology Professionals, Reproductive health Professionals, Health Care Professionals, Researchers and Clinical Researchers, diagnostic laboratory medicine departments on hospital, pathology departments on hospital, medical schools, and service providers
  • Sell key instruments (Next Generation Sequencer) and core consumables. Additionally Microarray, qPCR, Sanger Sequencer and core consumables
  • Present products and build strong relationships with existing/potential customers in order to exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong customer partnerships and key account relationships
  • Continue to receive training and improve skills accordingly in order to provide customers with ongoing high- quality support
  • Collect and utilize all necessary market information
  • Foster and sustain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Communicate account objectives and action plans to management via weekly business reviews and other communication vehicles
  • Manage, update, maintain, and record all relevant activities in the SFDC database, and share information and background on prospective customers within the territory to our partners.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare/biology or other relevant fields
  • More than 5 years of sales experience and/or related experiences in relevant industry
  • Diagnostic Sales experience in General Hospital/Tertiary Hospital
  • Medical Devices or Healthcare industry or Reproductive health industry experience
  • Good business communication in Korean and English
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% within assigned territory
  • Knowledge of competitor products and market dynamics
  • Good personal relationship with an active personality
  • Good computer skill (MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint and etc.)
