Strategies to Empower People is looking to hire a full-time Program Manager for Supported Living Services that will help coordinate, develop and implement our community-based supported living program for disabled adults in the Yuba, Sutter and Placer county areas!Do you want to work for a company that is constantly developing and growing new programs to support people with disabilities? Then read on!WHAT IS THE JOB?The Program Manager works alongside an experienced team of Directors, Managers and Field Supervisors to oversee and coordinate Supported Living Services for the Intellectual and/or Developmentally Disabled (I/DD) adults our agency serves in the Yuba, Sutter and Placer county areas!The Program Manager has a hand in almost every aspect in the services we provide, from general administrative duties such as documentation, reports, and supervising field staff to on-site assessments for incoming clients, hands-on support for our current clients, and developing and implementing numerous plans, goals, and celebrations for the people we support.This position will directly supervise our field supervisors as well as the staff who work one-on-one with the people we support, and is responsible for not only the health, safety and success of our clients but also the health, safety and success of our employees. SCHEDULEThe Program Manager position is a salaried exempt role with a schedule that includes on-call Monday through Friday and shares a rotating on-call weekend with the other members of the management team (potentially one weekend a month). Please note that this is not a 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. position! The Program Manager is one of the last lines of supervision our agency and needs to be a constant and accessible resource for our clients and our staff!The rate of pay for this position is $34-$35 per hour, which transitions to salaried at $70,720-$72,800 annually following an initial training period.LOCATIONThis position operates out of our Roseville office location, which is located at 730 Sunrise Ave.JOB REQUIREMENTSThe Program Manager is a position that requires both experience supervising other individuals as well as having extensive experience working in the Human Services field!This role requires at least three (3) years experience working with individuals who have Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD population).This position also requires at least two (2) years of supervisory and budgetary/finance experience. This means supervising staff, NOT supervising individuals with disabilities! (Two years experience providing In-Home Support Services is NOT considered supervision!)On top of the supervisory and field experience we also need someone who understands Supported Living Services (SLS) as well as the Medi-Cal system since it is such a huge part in the services we provide.And last but not least: COMPUTER AND DRIVING SKILLS! Like any job we require the use of standard electronics, computer and database systems. We provide training on the platforms we use, so aptitude with using different systems is necessary for success as well as maintaining professional communication both verbal and written/typed.Being a licensed and insured driver is necessary for this role, which includes having a clean driving record (no excessive points, and no DUIs/wet-and-reckless in the past 10 years).WHO ARE WE?Strategies to Empower People is a 100% employee-owned company that operates in the Greater Sacramento area, Yuba/Sutter/Placer counties, and North Bay region!
