The Support Manager typically oversees support teams and handles escalations, requiring technical and leadership skills. At least 2 years first line management experience required (service delivery, hiring, performance management, etc.).ย
At least 2 years leading teams of at least 5 or more direct reports. This manager will supervise from 25-40 technicians.
5-10 years in Information Technology, preferably in a client-facing role.
1-year experience managing a geographically dispersed team preferred (this manager has employees in multiple locations across multiple states)
IT Service Management / ITIL experience required (working within ticketing systems, and cross-functional service delivery teams)
Microsoft experience required (Windows, Office, Outlook, Active Directory, etc.)
College degree preferred
