Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ACI Money Transfer System (MTS) Production Support / Developer to support and enhance critical payment processing applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ACI MTS, payment systems, production support, and application development, with hands-on experience across mainframe and distributed environments. This role will be responsible for system enhancements, migrations, upgrades, issue resolution, and ensuring the stability and performance of payment processing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead development, enhancement, migration, and upgrade activities for ACI Money Transfer System (MTS).
Provide production support for critical payment applications, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot MTS components, including queues, processes, databases, and interfaces.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Monitor application performance and proactively address operational issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support releases, deployments, and system improvements.
Participate in system testing, validation, and implementation activities.
Ensure adherence to organizational standards, security requirements, and operational procedures.
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with ACI Money Transfer System (MTS).
Proficiency in COBOL VI development and support.
Experience working in Unix/Linux/AIX environments with strong Unix command-line skills.
Solid knowledge of Mainframe technologies, including:
JCL
VSAM
Experience with:
Oracle Database
IBM MQ
ACI/ENTIA Databases
Hands-on experience with operational and debugging tools such as:
Autosys
Xpeditor
FileAid
Domain Expertise
Strong understanding of Payments Processing Systems.
Experience working with payment messaging and settlement networks, including:
SWIFT MT
SWIFT MX
Fedwire
CHIPS
Knowledge of ISO 20022 payment message formats and standards.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Proven experience in production support and development within banking or financial services environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
