Job description

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer (EIT) to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing electrical systems for commercial building projects and be actively pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

This is a full-time, hybrid - remote + on-site position.

Responsibilities
  • Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial buildings.
  • Prepare construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Perform electrical load calculations and equipment sizing.
  • Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and project teams.
  • Assist with site visits, RFIs, submittals, and construction support.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and client standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • EIT certification required; PE track required.
  • 2+ years of electrical design experience in commercial buildings.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
